Booking in advance is essential for all of our experiences.

GIFT VOUCHERS are available and a voucher can be provided valid for 1 year, just send us a booking form and mark that you are buying as a gift, the voucher can be sent to the buyer or straight to the participant.

As well as a very privileged behind the scenes experience and close encounter with a lion, tiger or snow leopard, you will also receive joint annual sponsorship of your chosen big cat, your own personalised certificate, information on your chosen species, an electronic copy of the photographs taken by the keeper during your experience, a gift bag, lunch and time to explore our wonderful wildlife conservation park, where there are many more lovely animals to see.

Hear all about the conservation projects we support because we all strongly believe these animals should stay where they so rightly belong, in the wild!

This is a joint experience where you will both be meeting the same cat at the same time and whilst we will try to accommodate your preferences, we cannot guarantee your chosen cat will be available on the day of your visit. If a cat doesn't want to play, we won't make them, in this case a suitable alternative will be chosen.

Activities may be subject to change on the day due to welfare or operational factors. The programme of activities is dependent on the capability of the participants, however, where it is possible, reasonable adjustment will be made to try to ensure that the experience is open to all.

We want you to have a safe and enjoyable experience, all participants must abide by the health and safety regulations of Linton Zoo.

A very privileged VIP behind the scenes zoo animal experience and close encounter with at least two of the following species: Brazilian tapir, binturong, lemurs, red kangaroo, giant tortoises, Hartmann's mountain zebra, southern ground hornbill, Mara!

We will not be able to tell you which animals will take part until the actual day. While we will try to accommodate your preferences, we cannot guarantee your specified choice. Close encounters does not necessarily mean your experience will be hands on, participants will be invited to join keepers in the off show areas of some species where they will have the opportunity to hand feed their chosen animal through a mesh safety barrier.

After your experience, approximately 40 minutes with the animals, you are free to wander around the zoo for the afternoon.

Your day will start at 11am, we would love you to stay until we close 2.30pm.

You are welcome to bring guests along to watch you take part in your experience, although an admission fee will apply and they will not have access to the off show areas
