COVID-19

We would still ask you to please not visit if you are, or you have been in contact with someone who is, showing symptoms of or tested positive for COVID-19. The disease might be in a more controlled stage for humans, but may unfortunately still affect many animal species severely.

The safety and welfare of our visitors, staff and animals is our top priority, so we kindly ask that all visitors adhere to the few safety measures we have kept in place, so that we can ensure the safest experience possible for everyone.

AVIAN INFLUENZA

In an effort to control the spread of Avian Influenza (Bird Flu) please be advised that a few of our bird species will not be visible during your visit.

We are continuing to monitor and review our precautionary measures as the situation develops, working closely with DEFRA, BIAZA and the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA). We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for understanding that our top priority is to protect the health and welfare of our birds.
