Our trained staff will welcome you to our gift shop, but it is useful for us to know if your group is planning to visit the gift shop, this is to ensure we can provide adequate staffing levels to efficiently deal with the larger numbers of children. If we know how much your children have to spend we can offer mini-deals to your group, so they get better value!
Sometimes there just isn’t enough time to fit it all in and a trip to the gift shop is often rushed, solve the problem - just grab and dash with your pre-booked goody bags. These can be adapted to suit your group and topic of study. Our standard better value goody bag is £3.50 inc VAT, although we can adapt these depending on your needs, bespoke items start at just 80p for a zoo pencil. So contact the zoo office to discuss your goody bags contents.
Download our safety guidelines to assist you with your risk assessment. If you plan to visit the zoo to carry out a risk assessment please make yourself known at the front gate when paying your admission fee, please bring the receipt you will be given on the day of the school visit and the amount will then be deducted from your group fee.
We have a range of worksheets available once you have booked your group visit to add an extra dimension to your trip. If you would like to join our education committee and assist us in producing further worksheets and activities for school visits, please contact us.
OUTREACH - BRINGING THE ZOO TO YOU!
